Margy Washbrook - Manager
Margy was employed in the voluntary sector in Belfast in the early 80’s, then moved to live in England and Wales, before joining EWA in September 2008. She has worked in housing, further and higher education, social work and community development in a variety of settings. Margy represents EWA in strategic, planning and networking activities

Carol Simpson – Office Administrator
Carol was employed in industry and the private sector before joining EWA in 2004. She has many years experience of office administration and bookeeping , and is the staff member who ensures EWA runs smoothly and within budget. It is Carol who answers the phone and callers will be greeted by her when they phone the office.

Theresa McVeigh – Development Officer - Castlereagh
Theresa has been employed in further education, housing, and community development in rural Tyrone, before joining EWA in 2006. Theresa works to support isolated older people, older people’s groups and the Castlereagh Lifestyle Forum. She works in partnership with the voluntary and community sector, and statutory sector in Castlereagh.

Stephen Gourley – Development Officer – South Belfast
Stephen has been employed in engineering, the civil service and spent several years with a development organisation in Papua New Guinea, before joining EWA in 2001. Stephen works to support isolated older people, older people’s groups and the South Belfast Lifestyle Forum. He works in partnership with the voluntary and community sector and statutory sector in South Belfast.

Laurence was employed in retail, industry and the health sector before joining EWA in 2006. Laurence works to support isolated older people, older people’s groups and the East Belfast Seniors Forum. He works in partnership with the voluntary and community sector and statutory sector in East Belfast.
